The Evidence

In hard to heal wounds the extraceullular matrix (ECM) is degraded resulting in a reduction in cell proliferation and secretion of growth factors.

When applied to the wound bed Xelma restores the damaged proteins providing an extracellular matrix protien for cell attachment.

This creates favourable conditions for wound healing by restoring vital cell functions including proliferation, migration and production of growth factors and essential extracellular matrix components.
